Promotions and Deals

At Namshi, we create a competitive environment for sellers to grow with our Deals program. It offers exceptional deals with increased visibility, leading to more product views and sales


Step 1. View all deals & deal schedules

  • You will only see all deals (deal schedule) available for the destination country

    • you will be able to switch between the destination country (AE or SA) on the top right switcher. For example if you select “AE”, this means you are seeing the deals available for the AE customers  

  • For each deal, You can view:

    • Deal information: 

      • Deal Name

      • Deal Description

    • Eligible Deal SKU Criteria: 

      • Department

      • Category

      • Age Group

      • Gender 

    • Deal Schedule 

      • Duration: in local time of the destination country

      • Type: One Time or Recurring

        • For the recurring deals, enrolling it once will mean that the deal configuration (deal price/stock) will be applicable in the repeating time slots in the overall duration. 

      • Status: Upcoming, Ongoing, Ended, Inactive

  • Please note: 

    • you need to enroll into all destination countries individually 

    • For now, only local deliveries (AE to AE & SA to SA) will be available  

Step 2. Enroll into a deal schedule 

  • You can enroll into multiple deal schedule at the same time across multiple deals

    • Enrollment can be of different deal prices & deal stock limit

    • The lowest deal price of the active schedules will be assigned if a SKU is live in 2 deals with different prices and different stock:

      • If the price is 15 for 50 units and 20 for 10 units, the customer will see 15 for 50 and once that ends they will see 20 for 10

  • You can configure a deal price and deal stock on a child SKU level

How to activate the the deals 


1 Bulk Importer

1- Go to Namshi Sellerlab Imports Page

2- Navigate to the Catalog Importer

  • Select Imports Groups - “Deal Management” 

  • Select Import Types -  “Deal Enrollment”


3- Import either via uploading a file or pasting the entries to the field using the attached template Namshi Sellerlab Template - Deal Enrollment


NotesNote: 
  • Only the first entry will be considered if there are multiple entries for the same child sku + deal schedule combination in the same upload file

  • All SKUs in a single file must belong to the same deal schedule

  • All SKUs in a single file must belong to the same deal schedule.

  • Ensure your products are eligible for the deal (e.g., correct category, department) before uploading. Ineligible products will be skipped.

  • The deal quantity of enrolled SKUs on an active deal schedule cannot be decreased.

  • Stock must be a number greater than 0


2 Deals Dashboard 

1 - Access the Enroll interface by clicking on enroll on “All Deals” Tab (link) or “Add SKUs” button for already enrolled deal schedules


2- View and select eligible SKUs based on categorization of the SKU


3- Set the Deal Price and Deal Stock for each SKU

Note: 

  • Guard rail price will be shown below the price (min & max_price)

  • Will return an error if deal price is outside of the guard rail price 


3- Click “Submit” and see the enrolled SKUs on the deal schedule page 


You can deactivate an enrollment or edit the deal price/deal stock from the interface as well


Step 3. View active deal SKUs

  • Sellers can easily access the deal listing on the consumer app via the linked filterkey page. 

 

You will only see the currently LIVE deal SKUs of the deal schedule code. For instance if the recurring deal is for everyday 2pm - 2am, then outside the slot, the items will not show) 

  • Customers will see the deal price across the shopping journey as a discounted price in Product carousels, PLP, PDP, Cart, Checkout, Orders Page

Note:

  • Lowest deal price amongst the enrolled active deal schedules will be assigned as the deal price. Once the deal stock for that deal price is depleted, the next lowest deal price will be assigned.

  • If the assigned deal price is higher than the current price (msrp or live), then the deal price will not be live to customers. 

  • Product Box View (PLP, Product Carousel) currently shows the price for the first variant, so if the deal price is applied on non-first variants only, then the deal price will not be visible.

  • How do we handle more than deal stock being added to cart? Ex. customer wants to buy 11 units at price X when deal stock was only 10

    • Do not allow users to add more than the deal stock available for the active deal (the lowest deal price) 

Step 4. View performance of deal skus

“My Deals” Tab (link) lists all the enrolled deal schedules, where performance can be shown in 2 levels 

1- View info & performance of the deal SKUs in on deal schedule level

2- View info & performance of the deal SKUs in on deal schedule level on SKU level

Note: The performance data has a delay of upto 2 hours. 



Step 4. View performance of deal skus

“My Deals” Tab (link) lists all the enrolled deal schedules, where performance can be shown in 2 levels

Update Enrollments

  • For an ongoing deal schedule, then the upload will ignore if the deal quantity for an already enrolled sku is less than the enrolled quantity to avoid purchase failures

  • Otherwise standard QC criteria will apply

  • This can be done either via the importer OR through the deal dashboard
