Product creation

This guide explains how to manually list products on SellerLab. It provides step-by-step instructions for creating new products, downloading templates, uploading images, defining product variants, updating barcodes, setting prices, and managing stock. Following these steps ensures your products are accurately listed, visible to customers, and optimized for sales.

Step 1: Download NIS Template

Follow the steps below to download the NIS template for product creation:

  1. Log in to Seller Lab

  2. Click on the icon on the top left → Namshi.com → Imports

  3. Click on → New Import

  4. A new screen “Build your import” will pop-up,  Under Import Groups, select Product create/update.

  5. Choose the Import type:

    1. Single size product create: allows you to list multiple products with one specification/size of the item. Example: a product with no size, color, style, or material options sold as one standard item with one SKU.

    2. Multiple size product creation: allows you to list multiple products with multiple Size Variations. Example: a T-shirt that comes in Small/Medium/Large.

  6. Choose the Category (optional)

  7. Download Template for that category.

Step 2: Fill in the Template

The template should be filled in English. Fields labelled "EN" and "AR" indicate where to enter each language. While providing content in both languages enhances product visibility as Arabic is optional. Follow the steps below to add the parent and child in NIS template:

  1. If you have a product that contains multiple size variant then download import_type = Multiple Size Product Creation

    • Add the Parent row first

      • Set Parent Child Variation = Parent.

      • Fill all parent-level details: Department, Category, Sub-Category, Basic Type, Product Title (EN), Colour Name (EN), Brand, Age Group, Gender, Images, etc.

    • Add the Child rows depending on how many size variants you have:

      • For each size/fit variation, add a new row and set Parent Child Variation = Child

      • Copy the same Parent Group ID from the Parent row.

      • Fill in child-specific details:

        1. Partner SKU (unique per child) -

        2. Size (e.g., S, M, L)

        3. Barcode (unique & scannable) - This barcode should match the barcode physically printed on the package

    • Assign a Unique Parent Group ID

      • Parent Group ID is just a number/code you make up to “tie together” one Parent (the main product) and all its Children (sizes).

        1. Example: If you’re uploading  Adidas Sambas that come in 40, 40.5, 41, you give all of them the same Parent Group ID e.g SAMBA_BLACK.

  2. If you have a product that contains single size or no size variant then download import_type = Single Size Product Creation

    • Add only Parent Rows

    • Check with Marihane/Aya

Note:

  • Do not add a size value on the Parent row.

  • Child rows automatically inherit all content from the Parent, except:

  • Use one Parent Group ID per style. Do not reuse it across different styles or colors.

  • All children must remain under the same category/attributes as the Parent.

Add Grouping Reference - Linking Color Variations on the same product page

  • Imagine you sell the same T-shirt in different colors.

  • Each color is its own Parent with its own Parent Group ID

  • The Grouping Reference is like a “glue” that sticks those different color Parents together so the customer sees all colors on one product page instead of separate pages.

  • All the Parents of the same style (Blue, Red, Black) get the same Grouping Reference value.

How to fill it?

  1. Create Parent A → assign a unique Parent Group ID (e.g., AYESHA_SAMBA_BLACK) and add its Child sizes.

  2. Create Parent B → assign a different Parent Group ID (e.g., AYESHA_SAMBA_WHITE) and add its Child sizes.

  3. On both Parent rows, enter the same Grouping Reference (e.g., AYESHA_SAMBA).

  4. For additional colors, repeat the process: each color gets its own Parent Group ID, but all share the same Grouping Reference.
Result: On the PDP, AYESHA_SAMBA will appear as one style, with multiple colors and sizes available to choose from

Step 3: Upload Template

  1. Go to Sellerlab → Click on → Namshi.com → Imports → New Imports

  2. Choose the Import Groups,  Import Type, Category and click Next

  3. Upload the file or drag & drop

  1. Click Confirm

  2. The status of the file along with any errors can be viewed in the All Imports screen:

Step 4: View Products

  1. Go to Sellerlab → Click on → Namshi.com → Catalog

  1. A Catalog Listing page will open when you can view a list of all products created under your ID partner.

  2. Search for the product using ZSKU Parent, it will open a SKU with all the content, price and stock

  3. You can change the content and image of the product from the UI as well.
