Welcome to Namshi’s Global Selling Program, a streamlined opportunity for UAE sellers to expand their reach into the Saudi Arabian (KSA) market. This guide will take you through the whole journey you need to expand your business to the Saudi market.
As a UAE seller to start selling in KSA, you’ll first need to create and activate your store on Namshi’s platform. Here’s how to get started:
Create Your KSA Store:
If your KSA store hasn’t been created yet, refer to the detailed instructions in this article.
Add VAT Details:
Enter your KSA VAT registration details if available and submit them for approval.
If you don’t have KSA VAT registration, you can register as an unregistered seller.
Your Legal Entity (LE) will undergo an approval flow.
Link Legal Entity and Bank Account:
Once your LE is approved, connect it to your designated bank account to proceed.
Sign Terms & Conditions (T&Cs):
Agree to the program’s T&Cs. Your LE eligibility will be reviewed again post-signing.
Once approved, you’re officially ready to begin listing your products globally!
Adding your products to the KSA market involves listing them as SKUs and activating them for sale. Follow these steps to ensure everything is set up correctly:
Import Product Details:
Add the SKUs for the products you want to sell in the Product Create/update importer.
Include the 12-digit Saudi HS codes for each product, as required by ZATCA (Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority) regulations. (This is Mandatory)
Commercials:
Commission & admon applicable in UAE will be charged
In addition to 5% will be charged as x-border shipping charge
VAT applicable for KSA is 15%
Enable the Marketplace visibility:
use the Country visibility update importer to allow crossborder selling from AE to SA

Global Seller Warranty Policy:.As a seller participating in Namshi’s Global Selling Program, you are fully responsible for the warranty of any product sold through our platform and The warranty provided must comply with the local consumer protection laws in the country where the item is sold and delivered
Returns:
Drop-off Point: Sellers must provide a drop-off point in KSA for all customer returns. Namshi will deliver returned items to the provided location.
For Sellers Without a Drop-off Point: If you do not have a drop-off point in KSA, Namshi will return the products to UAE source warehouse within 30 days of receiving them in KSA warehouse.

Most products that are sold on FBN in UAE can be sold on Global KSA except for following
Items where volumetric weight or actual weight is more than 10kg
Items with longest dimension greater than 60cm

Q.What commission and costs need to be included in the pricing?

Q: What is the fee for selling on Namshi Global?
Sellers will continue to pay the same fees as they currently do in the UAE. However, there will be 5% additional commission to cover cross border shipping charges
Q: Where can I find the financial statements for KSA Global Store?
Financial statements can be found under the ‘Payments & fees’ section in the seller lab of existing accounts. Seller needs to select the country as ‘Saudi Arabia’ for KSA Global Store.
Q: Will the KSA VAT charged to the customer be included on the invoice?
No, KSA VAT will be collected by Namshi and will be paid to relevant authorities. No VAT or any other import related charges will be included in the invoice.
Q: Will the seller receive payment in their UAE account, even if they have an existing Legal entity in KSA or currently selling in KSA ?
Yes, all payments will be received in the account linked to Namshi KSA seller account
Note Payment will be made from our Saudi entity to the seller's designated bank account. Any additional charges deducted by the receiving bank will be charged to the seller directly, and will not be covered by Namshi.
Q: What is the currency of the payment settlement, will it be in AED or SAR?
The currency of the payment settlement will be SAR between Namshi and the seller's bank.
Q: Do I need to have VAT registration in KSA to start a global store at Namshi and sell in KSA?
There is no mandatory requirement for VAT registration in KSA for Namshi global store.Please refer to the detailed article here.
Q: Can Directship inventory be sold on Global stores?
Yes, all items that are live in Namshi in UAE. Please refer to the detailed article here.
Q: What are the documentation and Compliances required to be part of Namshi’s global program?
Sellers are responsible for providing or maintaining the necessary documentation for cross-border shipments.
List products inclusive of VAT.
Namshi will raise a zero-rated invoice for exports on behalf of the seller. The invoice will be available on the Namshi.com customer account and as well on the seller lab account of the Seller.
Seller should maintain order ID level information against the remittances made by namshi to seller, to defend the remittances. This information can be availed from the Seller’s seller lab account.
For any returns, import VAT, customs and shipping charges will be a non-recoverable cost.
MP commission invoice to Non-resident Seller will be at the rate of 15% & will be a cost to Non-resident Seller (Input VAT credit for cross border sale cannot be claimed)
