Using Ad Campaign Recommendations
Recommendations are automatically-generated suggestions to help you grow traffic, engage customers and boost sales. Each one estimates the uplift you could gain — for example, recovering revenue lost to a budget cap — and links straight to the campaign so you can act in a couple of clicks.
Namshi currently offers two types of recommendation: Budget (scale campaigns that are limited by their budget) and Stock (fix out-of-stock promoted products). More types will be added in future.
There are two entry points: the Recommendations panel on the right of the Campaigns Overview dashboard (with a View All link), and the dedicated Recommendations section in the left navigation.
The page header shows how many recommendations are open. Use the category tabs to focus: All, Improve Visibility, Improve Sales and Improve Efficiency.
Each row has five columns:
Type — the kind of recommendation (Budget or Stock).
Recommendation — a plain-language suggestion, e.g. “Missed 2,333 AED in revenue because of low budget. Increase budget to 100 AED to get more sales.”
Estimated Impact — the projected uplift, e.g. +47% Revenue and +50% Impressions.
Campaign — the campaign the recommendation applies to.
Actions — View (to act on it) or Dismiss (to hide it).
Beyond the tabs, use the Type and Campaign filters and the search box to find specific suggestions. Namshi currently supports two recommendation types:
Budget — raise a daily budget that is capping delivery, so the campaign can capture the sales it is missing.
Stock — fix out-of-stock promoted products, so your budget goes to items shoppers can actually buy.
Turn on Show dismissed to bring back recommendations you previously dismissed.
Click View to open the campaign in edit mode with the change pre-filled. The Daily Budget is set to the suggested amount and the campaign is flagged (e.g. Budget Exhausted) — review it and Save Changes to apply.
A Stock recommendation flags a campaign that is promoting out-of-stock products — these can’t convert, so they waste impressions and budget. Click View to open the campaign; the out-of-stock items are flagged in the product list. Restock them in your catalogue, or remove them from the campaign so your budget goes to sellable products, then Save Changes.
If a suggestion isn’t relevant, click Dismiss. Dismissed items are hidden but can be restored with the Show dismissed toggle, so nothing is lost.
Prioritise recommendations with the highest estimated revenue impact.
Budget recommendations pair with the dashboard’s “Missed Revenue” flag — both point to campaigns that are ready to scale.
Act on Stock recommendations quickly — every impression spent on an out-of-stock product is wasted budget.
Re-check recommendations regularly; they refresh as your campaigns and the auction change.
