Product Ads Campaign

Creating a Product Ads Campaign

Product Ads promote individual products (SKUs) from your catalogue in Namshi search results and browsing pages. They are the best starting point for a new advertiser: you pick the products you want to push, decide how shoppers should find them (automatically or with your own keywords and categories), set a bid and a daily budget, and go live in minutes.

This guide walks through every step of creating a Product Ads campaign on Namshi SellerLab, explains what each setting does, and covers the optional and alternative paths along the way.

How you’re billed & where it fits

Pricing model — CPC (Cost Per Click). Product Ads are billed per click: you pay only when a shopper clicks your ad, not when it is shown. You set a per-click bid for each keyword or category, guided by the suggested bid range shown for each target. The campaign’s minimum daily budget must be greater than AED 5.

Info
What CPC means?
CPC = Cost Per Click. You are charged each time someone clicks your ad; ads that are shown but not clicked cost nothing.

Where it fits — lower-funnel, intent-driven : Product Ads appear when shoppers are actively searching or browsing for something to buy, so they reach a smaller but high-intent audience. Reach is lower, but ROAS (return on ad spend) is typically the highest of the three ad types, because you are capturing shoppers who are ready to purchase.

Before you begin

  • You are signed in to Namshi SellerLab and the correct seller account is selected in the top-left account switcher.

  • Your catalogue has active, in-stock SKUs. Product Ads can only promote products that are live on Namshi.

  • Minimum daily budget is AED 6 (the field must be greater than 5).

Step 1 — Choose the campaign type

From the home screen click Create Campaign. You are asked “What type of ad campaign do you want to run?” and shown three options. Select Product Ads and click Continue.

  • Product Ads — Increase product visibility by targeting relevant search terms and browsing categories.

  • Brand Ads — Boost brand discovery with ads that showcase your logo, brand name and products.

  • Display Ads — Showcase your products/brand using banners on Namshi’s premium slots.

Step 2 — Product Selection

This is the first mandatory step. Pick the products this campaign will advertise. There are two ways to do it — you can use either method.

Info
What this step means?

Manual Selection: search and filter your catalogue to hand-pick one or more products. This gives you full control over which products to promote. For best results, group similar products in the same campaign for consistent targeting and performance.

Bulk Upload: add many products at once by uploading a file of SKUs — faster when you already have a prepared list or a large catalogue.

Option A — Manual Selection

Browse your catalogue and click the + on any product to add it. Use the search box to find a SKU by name, and the three sub-tabs to switch between lists:

  • All — your entire eligible catalogue.

  • Hidden Gems — a curated list of under-exposed products with growth potential (may be empty on a new account).

  • Bestsellers — your current top-selling products.

Use Filter to narrow the catalogue by Brand or Category, then click Apply.

Option B — Bulk Upload

Switch to the Bulk Upload tab. Download the Sample Bulk SKU Template, fill it in, and drag-and-drop or select a .CSV, .XLS or .XLSX file — or paste SKUs directly into the Copy & Paste SKU’s box (separated by commas, spaces or new lines) and click Add Products.

Once products are added, the right-hand panel shows “N Products Selected”. Remove a single product with its trash icon, or clear everything with Delete All.

Step 3 — Targeting

This is the second mandatory step: it decides where and for which searches your ads appear. Choose one of two strategies.

Info
Set your targeting strategy

Auto Targeting: Namshi automatically selects relevant keywords and categories based on your product details, so your ads reach interested customers without you choosing targets manually.

Manual Targeting: you choose the keywords and categories that best match your product and set your own bid for each one — full control over how your ad is shown.

Option A — Auto Targeting

Select Auto Targeting and enter a Default Bid Amount — the maximum you are willing to pay per click. Namshi handles keyword and category matching for you.

Option B — Manual Targeting

Select Manual Targeting to build your own target list from Keywords and/or Categories. Under Keywords, the Recommended tab suggests terms with their monthly search volume; the Manual Upload tab lets you add your own. Add a keyword as Exact or Phrase match:

  • Exact Match — your ad shows only when the search term matches your keyword exactly (e.g. keyword “running shoes” → only “running shoes”).

  • Phrase Match — your ad shows when the search contains your phrase in order, even with extra words (e.g. “best running shoes”, “running shoes for women”).

  • Monthly Search Volume — how many times a keyword is searched each month; higher volume can reach more shoppers.

Each added target appears on the right with an editable bid and a Suggested range to guide you. Use Apply Bids To Targets to set a bid across several targets at once.

Switch to the Categories tab to target whole browse categories (Home & Lifestyle, Women, Men, Kids, Baby). Use Refine to drill into sub-categories and + to add them.

Step 4 — Negative Targeting (optional)

Add negative keywords to stop your ads showing for irrelevant searches. Choose Exact or Phrase, type a comma-separated list, and click Add Keywords. You can add up to 20 Exact and 20 Phrase negative targets.

Step 5 — Top of Product Listing Page bidding (optional)

Boost your chances of appearing at the very top of product-listing results. Enter a Bid Percentage between 10% and 900%; when your ad qualifies for the top slot, your base bid is increased by that percentage (e.g. a base bid of AED 1.00 with a 50% boost becomes AED 1.50 when competing for the top slot). Your normal bid is unchanged for all other placements.

Step 6 — General Settings

Give the campaign a Campaign Name, confirm the Marketplace (NAMSHI), and set the schedule and budget:

  • Start Date — when the campaign begins (defaults to today).

  • End Date — leave “No end date” ticked to run continuously, or untick it to choose an end date.

  • Daily Budget — the most you will spend per day. Must be greater than AED 5, and must be at least as large as your target bids.

Step 7 — Launch

Click Launch Campaign. If anything is missing, a Campaign Creation Incomplete banner lists what to fix (for example a budget that is too low, or a target bid that exceeds the daily budget). Click a highlighted item to jump to it, correct it, and launch again. Use Save As Draft to finish later.

When everything is valid you’ll see “All Set! Your Campaign Is Live.” From here, go to the dashboard to monitor it or view the campaign directly.

Step 8 — Monitor and manage

Your campaign now appears in Campaigns Overview with KPI cards (ROAS, Revenue, Spends, eCPC, CTR, Orders, Clicks, Views, ATC), a performance chart, and a table of your campaigns. Edit the budget inline with the pencil icon, and use the Active toggle to pause or resume a campaign at any time.
